Who was Mario Dumaual?

Dumaual was a reporter for entertainment before joining the Ministry of Agriculture. He also had jobs at a shipping line and a finance firm.
In 1982, he started working at the Times Journal. When he received a job offer from ABS-CBN, he became a columnist in Malaya.
His television career began in 1987 when he joined ABS-CBN News as an entertainment reporter and continued up until his death. On July 31, Mario would have turned 65 years old.
Mario received the Joe Quirino Award at the 5th EDDYS Awards, which were hosted at the Metropolitan Theatre on November 26, 2022, in honur of his work in the entertainment sector.

Mario Dumaual Cause of death
The legendary ABS-CBN showbiz reporter’s cause of death has been made public following his passing. Mario, who would have turned 65 on July 31, passed away at 8:01 a.m. on July 5 as a result of Septic Shock, a disease that occasionally happens in severe sepsis that causes blood pressure to decrease and the organs to become oxygen-deficient.
Mario’s wife said that he had been struggling with a serious fungal infection, which had developed as a side effect of his heart attack recovery. He spent a month in the Philippine Heart Center’s hospital.
Since Mario Dumaual suffered a heart attack and was confined to a hospital, his family pleaded with the public to remember the ABS-CBN entertainment reporter in their prayers.
